WHAT IS STEM PRODIGY?
STEM Prodigy offers enriching and engaging educational programs in applied science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Through partnerships with schools, we provide programming and robotics classes for curious and aspiring students in the New York Metropolitan area which fosters essential skills necessary for the various fields in STEM.
AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
Build and code with others who are just as interested in STEM as you are! We have classes in Scratch, LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, Arduino, and CAD! Through our fun, hands-on curriculum, students will learn the core principles of STEM and apply them in all aspects of their education.
PRIVATE WORKSHOPS
We offer private workshops for team projects at "host" locations. We have partnered with organizations in your neighborhoods throughout NYC to provide a safe and clean location for workshops. Perhaps your child and his or her friends may be interested in hosting a robotics workshop at your residence. We can staff tutors, supply materials, and also match other students for your workshops depending on your needs. For example, we are currently sponsoring a "Let's STEM this!" initiative for girls and have partnered with Robotics Education and Competition Foundation and VEX Robotics who created GirlPowered to host workshops throughout NYC. SUMMER CAMP
In addition to offering camps during the weekends and holidays, we also offer multi-day summer camps. These camps are intended to accommodate for the busy schedules of students and parents. All camps are organized into beginner, intermediate, and advance sessions so that students can learn at their own pace and build out their STEM knowledge base. We focus on building robots and coding in class and reinforce with assessments to make sure the students really understand the concepts.
