With AI all around us in our lives, STEMProdigy offers AI classes that will help your child understand how AI is being used in everything from self-driving cars, smart robots, to customer service and Siri, Apple’s ‘intelligent’ personal assistant. We will also go into the pros and cons of AI and apply a simple AI application to robotics where the child will experience how the AI design was used to improve the robot.
 
Intro AI class:  K-3 they will get a basic intro to AI in a fun and easy to understand way using examples in their lives and futuristic cartoons (i.e., Jetsons).  They will learn about how data is used to "learn" and "adapt" and how a basic neural network works.  Interactive discussions, videos, and robots with AI built by advance class will be demonstrated.
 
Intro AI class:  4-6 They will study how AI is used in applications, such as self driving cars, SIRI, and medical applications.  They will do basic calculations using our AI software learning system.  Interactive discussions, videos, and robots with AI built by advance class will be demonstrated.Discussions, demonstrations, and visiting speakers from industry and academia will help supplement the class.
 
Intermediate/Advanced AI (prereq:  One AI intro class, advance robotics):  4-8 they will get a fast course on how machine learning and neural networks works.  They will apply the concepts by building a robot (LEGO or VEX) using AI concepts and how it improved the performance.  Discussions, demonstrations, and visiting speakers from industry and academia will help supplement the class.  This class may be conbined with the Advance AI robotics class.
